Chad has over 18 years of experience in aviation, training, program management, and government contracting. Chad also has a FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and has accumulated over 3100 flight hours. Chad graduated from the Air Force ROTC program at Washington State University and spent 10 years on active duty finishing as an Instructor on the C-130 Hercules and an Instructor/Flight Examiner on the T-1A Jayhawk. Chad has consulted and built SUAS programs for large companies in the Oil and Gas Industry and Insurance Industry such as Chevron and Liberty. To date he has trained over 200 Remote Pilots.

Visual Observer
As a VO you will be providing a greater situational awareness to the Pilot In Command (PIC). This course includes both academic training such as Tracking Shot Lists as well as practical training with actual flight missions.
Pilot in Command
As a PIC you are directly responsible for, and are the final authority as to, the operation of the aircraft. This course includes both academic training such as Aeronautical Decision Making as well as practical with actual flight missions.
Night Operations
During this course you will have the right knowledge to safely operate your aircraft during the night. This type of operation is very crucial for accurate thermal inspections. This course includes night Waiver Review and Recognizing Visual Illusions caused by darkness.
Instructor Pilot (IP)
During this course you will have the right knowledge to safely operate your aircraft during the night. This type of operation is very crucial for accurate thermal inspections. This course includes night waiver review and recognizing visual illusions caused by darkness.
Evaluator Pilot (EP)
During this course you will learn how to correctly manipulate the leading aircraft in the powerline inspection industry along with various sensors such as Visual, Thermal & Gas.
Instructor Pilot
As an IP you will be teach pilots on how to professionally and safely operate UAVs before, during and after the mission. This course will cover topics such as Fundamentals of Instructing and Chief Pilot/Designee Checkride.
Evaluator Pilot
As an EP your role is to ensure that everything runs smoothly during a mission and intervene at the right when you see something wrong. This course includes topics such as Instructional Sortie Observation and Progressive Monitoring.
Aircraft Checkouts
During this course you will learn how to correctly manipulate various aircraft in the powerline inspection industry along with various sensors such as Visual, Thermal & Gas.
